Children's Parties
One of the high points of the Halloween year for us are the parties that we have for some
of our sponsored Chidren's Charities. This year we were lucky enough to have two
gatherings. The first for the Special Education Class of Sonoma Valley High School,
and the second was a group of kids from Kid Street Learning Center
Sonoma Valley High School Special Education Class
I
have watched my niece grow up and go through the Special Education
program in Sonoma Valley for all her school years. For the last 8 we
have had Dunbars program come and visit, but Stephanie has outgrown
that class and has now gone onto the High School level. The Dunbar
students were not able to come to the haunt this year but we did drag
the
High School over to see us. They had a good time going through the haunts and we
can't wait to have them back again next year!

Kids Street Learning Center
This is a new Charity for us this season and they were brought to our attention by
Mrs. Codding the President of Codding Enterprises. Mrs. Codding was
kind enough to donate the building to us this year so we asked her for
a Charity we could return the kindness to.
There were over 40 youngsters at the event and we hope they enjoyed us
as much as we enjoyed having them. There were treats and tricks for
everyone, and a few little surprises.

Here is our treat table with our punch witch and some of our great volunteers.
We also had the tables laid out with treats and goodies so that everyone had a little something extra to take back with them.

Here our very bony circus ringmaster tells the kids the haunt rules!

The kids enjoyed playing with some of our volunteers from the haunt.
Everyone always enjoys Bobs wonderful playing on the organ.

Just a little time with us and this sweet little girl turns into a vampire!

This young visitor was not to sure about going into the haunts, but
once inside he had no problem getting into the fun of it all. I think
we see a future actor here!

We ended the day off with a Trick or Treat stop at the Good Witch!

Here is a shot of a few of the kids, some of our volunteers, and Mrs. Codding.
We hope you all had a great time and we will see you again next year!
